What is Jong Morgens?

Lianka: "Jong Morgens is the young branch of Morgens, consisting of young talents who are committed to supporting organisations in healthcare, education and government in their challenges of today, and tomorrow. In doing so, they follow an intensive training programme and are coached by Morgens consultants. They are there to unburden project and programme managers and provide them with a fresh perspective. They do this with a proactive attitude and a lot of sensitivity."

Why does Morgens Conclusion think this initiative is important? 

"Young talents not only bring a fresh perspective to our clients, but also within Morgens. They bring the latest knowledge and expertise from their studies and put us on edge by asking the right questions. In doing so, the young branch also brings a large dose of enthusiasm and energy to the workplace and they are Morgens' future senior consultants."

With this, what do you help young colleagues advance?

"We offer young colleagues a warm bath to develop in. They form their own team, go through an intensive programme together, and learn and support each other during this steep learning curve. During training sessions, they are given the Morgens tools and knowledge, and their mentor (a Morgens consultant) helps them in their personal development. Not only do they get a place to gain a lot of experience in different assignments and sectors, they also get the chance to do business themselves immediately, because together we take Young Morgens further and make it successful as a traineeship. 

I personally really enjoy seeing the young consultants go through a tremendous development in two years. From the application moment to the moment they say goodbye and move on to one of the teams within Morgens is a fantastic journey. It is my honour to witness this up close, support them in their development and give them the opportunities to develop themselves. With each new group comes new dynamics, which also makes it never boring!"
