Connecting young talent with each other and the organisation. Various initiatives exist within the companies in the ecosystem to guide young talent in their professional and personal development. Lianka, Koen and Sander take us into the world of Jong Morgens, KWD Next and Jong myBrand.

High level of enthusiasm and energy

Lianka Bruijnen, Managing Consultant at Morgens Conclusion, talks about Jong Morgens, the young branch of Morgens. "Our young talents follow an intensive training programme and are coached by Morgens consultants. From their training courses, they bring the latest knowledge and skills, and a large dose of enthusiasm and energy!

Because we take Young Morgens forward together and make it successful as a traineeship, they also get the chance to do business immediately. I really enjoy seeing the young consultants make a gigantic development in two years."

New dynamics

KWD Next is a programme that KWD started several years ago to attract young talent into the world of project management. For young talents with some work experience in the profession. The Next route consists of: flying hours, training and coaching. This is how we fill the toolbox with tools and best practices.

Koen van Lochem, Project Manager at KWD Result Management, talks about his experiences with the programme: "What I like most is the dynamic that arises within the company when there are young and experienced colleagues. This creates discussions and insights that challenge both sides to look at a problem with a different perspective."

Next stands for the next generation. Passing on knowledge and applying it in your own way.

Connection, fun and development

Young myBrand was created from and for young colleagues. Sander de Been, RUN manager for NS through myBrand Conclusion, is part of it: "We organise events ranging from a gala on a boat to a sustainability event where we clean the canals of Utrecht. With a focus on connection, fun and professional development, we meet the needs of this younger target group. With now 100 to 150 young professionals!

I really enjoy connecting others and feel extra connected to the company because of this. Work is of course primary, but it is so important to do other things together outside work."
