More women in IT: the power of diversity

Current state of affairs

While the benefits are clear, the representation of women in the IT sector remains low. Globally, women make up just 27.6% of the tech workforce.3 In the Netherlands, the percentage of women in technical positions has even dropped to 19%.4 Only 13% of women hold senior technical positions4, and in leadership positions this figure is 33.5% globally.6
